I am a mother of 3 in St. Louis Mo. I decided that when my baby (now 6) went to school....that I would once again join the workforce. BUT.....what I am finding is that I am now on every damn comitee, board, and volunteer list that you can think of. Hmm....what to do huh? Between being a girl scout leader (2 troops), (soon to be) summer camp director, I'm on the quality council at school, also on the pto board, Co-chair of our fundraising comitee, .....then there is the girls' blossoming social calendar of events......holy crap....if my social life was that eventful....maybe I wouldn't be blogging! lol We also have 11 animals that I (me...no one else) takes care of. 3 LARGE dogs, 2 cats and 6 rats....yes rats....I will eventually just write an entry on my "little love mouses". Where oh where.....will I find time to work????? or should I say.....work TO GET PAID.
Here is where the experiment comes in......
I am a coupon freak....lets just get that out of the way. I don't leave home without checking for coupons for wherever I am going. I use a coupon finding app. (which I will tell you about in a minute) After showing it to my husband.....(trying to get credit for all of the money I am saving my family....and expecting him to notice this).....INSTEAD....being a marketing guru....he notices that you can become an affiliate and make money by giving it away for free. Which at the time I was not interested in even slightly!!! besides that......he had to pay 200.00 to get a license to distribute this thing.....sorry not for me. I am THE MOST SKEPTICAL PERSON IN THE UNIVERSE ...and beyond. He somehow saw an opportunity. whatever. I kept on using my "shopping toy".....which is amazing by the way (and yes.....I will share). So a couple weeks go by.....and he gets a check for $97.00. big deal. he paid 200.00. about 4 days later he gets another for $54.00. so....he is still out like $50.00 right? well wrong......he has gotten checks (all OVER $50.00) every few days since then and he basically just started doing this thing.
ok...ok...ok......so I looked into it. I have NEVER been into direct marketing but it seems so fool proof to me. Being a mother, wife, home-maker......this thing is sooooo marketable and USABLE to everyone!!!! oh yeah.......AND ITS FREE! lol so I don't have to SELL it to anyone.
I can just GIVE it to them? yes. AND I will be saving them money by doing so. So....I am doing it now....and I want to share my results with .....well...you. Hopefully they will be great, and we can have a blogging celebration of some sort! lol Crap...my dog just spilled my coffee. brb.
ok back. First I will tell you how it works(simple version).....and then how I get paid.....(IF I GET PAID) lol
1. When you download it....it works like a "google for shopping and coupons"
2. You type your item into your existing search engine and hit "compare"......it will then search the ENTIRE internet for your item (searching by lowest prices)
3. If you hit the "deals" button.....it will search for ANY coupons (printable AND coupon codes) on your item. THIS SAVES A TON OF TIME! holy crap.....no more searching every site and search engine for one stupid coupon....I know you feel my pain!!!
4. You can personalize it to your zipcode.....so it will actually tell you if YOUR local businesses are having sales, deals , or offering coupons at restaurants or fast food places.
How I (supposedly) get paid
Everytime somone uses this app. (which they get for FREE) .....I get "pay per click" income.....that means they DO NOT have to purchase anything....if they are price shopping...I get paid because they are clicking around on sites...those companies pay for each click. If someone DOES buy something on Amazon (which is 10% of online sales now) .....I get a small comission) or.....like my husband is doing.....he's going to the paper so they BECOME an affiliate.....and advertise this thing.....and then he gets %20 of their earnings.....but thats too much work as far as Im concerned. I don't want to sell distributorships. I just want to give it away.
Thats basically it.....so I want to give out as many of these things as possible. Please feel free to do the same!!! lol I beg of you......the more you give out....the more I get paid :) Lets see if this thing really works.
